Our properties are marketed both on this website and the major property portals. When you enquire about a property, we will ask you to complete a tenant registration form. This allows us to ensure that your criteria matches the Landlord’s requirements.
We then complete a shortlisting process with the Landlord before inviting you to physically view the property so you can make a final decision as to whether you wish to proceed.
From there, we naturally insist on full tenant referencing at the expense of the landlord. Once everyone is satisfied, we will take care of the whole process and get you into your new home as soon as we can. We aim to be non-intrusive upon tenant life, whilst fulfilling our responsibilities to your landlord but you can call us 24/7, 365 days a Year if you have an emergency or use our dedicated Whatsapp tenant reporting line if you have a maintenance issue that we can deal with for you.
Peace of mind and your safety are assured as ALL of our property stock is legally compliant with gas safety certificates, electrical safety certificates and carbon monoxide detectors as standard.

TENANT FEES
Tenancy Deposit
Equivalent to one months rent.
Your deposit will be registered with TDS Insured and held by Start and Co until the end of your tenancy.
If the Landlord is managing the property themselves, the details for the tenancy deposit scheme they will be using will be included in the tenancy agreement.
Default Fees
Cost to replace a lost key or other security device
Actual costs incurred, including cost of a locksmith or relevant contractor if required
Charges for early surrender of a tenancy:
Any request for early surrender of the tenancy MUST be agreed by the Landlord. If the Landlord is in agreement, the Tenants will be expected to cover the Landlords costs for reletting the property.
Rent is payable up to the point a new tenancy commences – capped at the total amount due up to the end of the contract.
