As we move into April, we look back at the first quarter of 2012 where we have seen a steadily increasing number of property sales month on month with this March showing a 50% increase in sales when compared to March 2011. Lending restrictions and high deposit requirements still strangle the market at the lower end but consistently we see demand in all types of property if they are put on the market at the right competitive price. The rental market is still going strong and as we move into the Summer months, we expect to see our available stock levels decrease with even more tenants moving into properties. Our sole agency fee remains unchanged at 1.5% plus VAT which still includes full page weekly colour advertising in both local papers, 3D floor plans as well as coverage on all three major property websites (rightmove, primelocation and findaproperty).
